He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Reade, of Barton Court and Beedon, Denford, Northamptonshire and Shipton Court, co. Oxford [E., 1661] on 7 April 1908.1

Sir John Stanhope Reade, 11th Bt. was born on 12 September 1896.1 He was the son of Sir George Franklin Reade, 10th Bt. and Carrie Nixon.2 He married Alice Elizabeth Dubber, daughter of Lawrence Luke Llewellyn Dubber, on 7 June 1924.1 He died on 8 January 1958 at age 61, without issue.1
