Galway [Ireland] on 9 January 1720/21.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newport, Isle of Wight between 1722 and 1725.1 He held the office of Joint Ambassador and Plenipotentiary to the Congress of Cambrai in 1725.1 On his death his title became extinct.1
