     Julian Humphrey Prideaux was born on 19 June 1942.¹ He is the son of Sir Humphrey Povah Treverbian Prideaux and Cynthia Violet Birch Reynardson.² He married (Rosamund) Jill Dougal, daughter of Richard Patrick Roney Dougal, on 5 August 1967.¹
