     Henry Arthur Herbert was born in 1826.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Herbert and Harriet Pope.^3,2 He married Grace Anne Pollock, daughter of Sir Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt. and Frances Rivers, on 21 December 1850.¹ He died on 16 April 1910.¹
     He was the Rector at Rathdowney, County Laois, Ireland.¹

     Captain Richard Langslow lived at Hatton, Middlesex, England.¹

     Sarah Anne Amowah Langslow was the daughter of Captain Richard Langslow.² She married Sir Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt., son of David Pollock and Sarah Homeria Parsons, on 7 January 1834.¹ She died on 1 April 1895.¹
     From 7 January 1834, her married name became Pollock.¹ They also had two other sons who died in infancy and four other daughters who died unmarried.¹

     Arthur Julius Pollock was born on 7 February 1835.¹ He was the son of Sir Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt. and Sarah Anne Amowah Langslow.² He married Ellen Bailey, daughter of Charles Bailey, on 21 February 1861.¹ He died on 11 May 1890 at age 55.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)¹

     Charles Bailey lived at Lee, Lynton, Devon, England.¹

     Ellen Bailey was the daughter of Charles Bailey.² She married Arthur Julius Pollock, son of Sir Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt. and Sarah Anne Amowah Langslow, on 21 February 1861.¹ She died on 25 October 1895.¹
     From 21 February 1861, her married name became Pollock.¹

     Arthur Julius Pollock was born on 21 August 1863.¹ He was the son of Arthur Julius Pollock and Ellen Bailey.² He died on 28 May 1914 at age 50.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Sir Henry Edward Pollock was born on 16 December 1864.¹ He was the son of Arthur Julius Pollock and Ellen Bailey.² He married Pauline Oakley, daughter of Henry Oakley, on 5 March 1906.¹ He died on 2 February 1953 at age 88, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1887 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was a practising barrister in 1900 at Hong Kong.¹ He was registered as a Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) at Hong Kong.¹ He was registered as a Member of the Executive Council (M.E.C.) at Hong Kong.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1924.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)¹

     Pauline Oakley was the daughter of Henry Oakley.² She married Sir Henry Edward Pollock, son of Arthur Julius Pollock and Ellen Bailey, on 5 March 1906.¹ She died on 16 July 1960.¹
     From 5 March 1906, her married name became Pollock.¹ She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1941.¹
