     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery (Territorial Forces.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Isabel Amy Pollock was the daughter of Sir Charles Edward Pollock and Amy Menella Dodgson.² She died in March 1936.¹

     Helen Pollock was born on 5 June 1868.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Charles Edward Pollock and Amy Menella Dodgson.² She died on 5 December 1957 at age 89, unmarried.¹

     Kate Pollock was the daughter of Sir Charles Edward Pollock and Amy Menella Dodgson.² She married Samuel Bostock, son of Samuel Bostock, on 10 June 1893.¹ She died on 9 November 1954, leaving issue.¹

     Ethel Caroline Pollock was born in 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Charles Edward Pollock and Amy Menella Dodgson.² She married Lieutenant Ernest Bagehot, son of F. S. Schwann, on 28 June 1905.¹ She died in 1974.¹
     From 28 June 1905, her married name became Schwann.¹ From 1917, her married name became Bagehot.¹
