     Brigadier Arthur Jocelyn Coleman Pollock was born on 14 July 1891.¹ He was the son of Henry Frederick Pollock and Phyllis Julia Broome.² He married Angela Kirwan, daughter of Patrick Kirwan, on 25 January 1936.¹ He died on 19 February 1968 at age 76, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches thrice and received a star and two medals.¹ He was Staff Captain of the Military Inter-Allied Missions between 1920 and 1926 at Berlin, Germany.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in 1930.¹ He was Commander in 1934 at Ireland, Royal Artillery Treaty Port.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in 1936 in the 6th Anti-aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in 1938 in the 41st Anti-aircraft Group (Territorial Army.)¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1944, he was mentioned in despatches thrice.¹ He held the office of Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1941.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in 1942 in the Anti-aircraft Group of the East Mediterranean.¹ He was director of the Middle East Division of Ministry Information in 1944.¹ He was Head of the Middle East Information Department of the Foreign Office in 1946.¹ He was a member of the Worthing Rural District Council in 1950.¹ He was County Chief Warden of Civil Defence in 1954 at West Sussex, England.¹

     Patrick Kirwan lived at Galway, County Galway, Ireland.¹

     Nina Phyllis Pollock was the daughter of Henry Frederick Pollock and Phyllis Julia Broome.² She married Brig.-Gen. Clennell William Collingwood, son of Maj.-Gen. Clennell Collingwood, on 17 January 1906.¹ She died on 25 June 1962, leaving issue.¹
     From 17 January 1906, her married name became Collingwood.¹

     Henry John Levett was born in 1842 at Watmor, Staffordshire, England.¹ He was the son of John Levett and Sophia Eliza Kennedy.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Clennell William Collingwood was the son of Maj.-Gen. Clennell Collingwood.² He married Nina Phyllis Pollock, daughter of Henry Frederick Pollock and Phyllis Julia Broome, on 17 January 1906.¹ He died on 5 April 1960.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Charles Edward Pollock was born on 5 May 1857.¹ He was the son of George Frederick Pollock and Frances Diana Herbert.² He died on 8 August 1881 at age 24.¹

     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)¹

     Annie Athol Stewart was the daughter of James Horne Stewart. She married, firstly, William Rivers Pollock, son of George Frederick Pollock and Frances Diana Herbert, on 27 February 1889.¹ She married, secondly, Cecil Hugh Myddleton Hughes on 1 March 1921.¹ She died on 5 February 1958.¹
     From 27 February 1889, her married name became Pollock.¹ From 1 March 1921, her married name became Hughes.¹
