     Colonel Ernest Joseph George Boyce gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Kathleen May Boyce was the daughter of Colonel Ernest Joseph George Boyce.² She married John Ryland Pinsent, son of Sir Richard Alfred Pinsent, 1st Bt. and Laura Proctor Ryland, on 16 September 1915.¹ She died on 7 December 1969.¹
     From 16 September 1915, her married name became Pinsent.¹
