     Mia Frederica Evelina Wood was baptised in 1870 at Walton on the Hill, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick William Wood and Maria Elizabeth Carter.¹ She died in 1942, unmarried.¹

     Henry Piers was born on 3 June 1818.¹ He was the son of Reverend Octavius Samuel Piers and Jane Tristram.² He married Ellen Sarah Colborn, daughter of John Colborn, on 28 November 1854.¹ He died on 30 November 1901 at age 83.¹
     He was Deputy Inspector-General of Hospitals and Fleets.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (M.R.C.S.E.)¹

     John Colborn lived at Cork, County Cork, Ireland.¹

     Ellen Sarah Colborn was the daughter of John Colborn.² She married Henry Piers, son of Reverend Octavius Samuel Piers and Jane Tristram, on 28 November 1854.¹ She died on 25 December 1926.¹
     From 28 November 1854, her married name became Piers.¹

     Henry Octavius Piers was born on 1 January 1856.¹ He was the son of Henry Piers and Ellen Sarah Colborn.² He married Lise Agnes Johnston-Ferguson, daughter of Dep. Surgn.-Gen. Unknown Johnston-Ferguson, in 1886.¹ He died on 8 February 1945 at age 89.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Lise Agnes Johnston-Ferguson was the daughter of Dep. Surgn.-Gen. Unknown Johnston-Ferguson.² She married Henry Octavius Piers, son of Henry Piers and Ellen Sarah Colborn, in 1886.¹ She died on 2 September 1937.¹
     From 1886, her married name became Piers.¹

     Gwendolen May Piers was born in 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Octavius Piers and Lise Agnes Johnston-Ferguson.²
