     Wendy Evelyn Wood was born on 27 April 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Col. Evelyn FitzGerald Michell Wood and Kathleen Morton.² She married Louis Jane, son of Edwin Charles Jane, on 19 May 1960.¹ She died on 15 February 1984 at age 64.¹
     From 19 May 1960, her married name became Jane.¹

     Edwin Charles Jane lived at Cadgwith, Cornwall, England.¹

     Louis Jane was the son of Edwin Charles Jane.² He married Wendy Evelyn Wood, daughter of Col. Evelyn FitzGerald Michell Wood and Kathleen Morton, on 19 May 1960.¹ He died in 1983.¹

     Charles Michell Aloysius Wood was born on 2 April 1873.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal Sir Henry Evelyn Wood, V.C. and Hon. Mary Paulina Anne Southwell.² He married Olive Mary de Bathe Miles, daughter of Major Philip William Herbert Miles, on 19 June 1915.¹ He died on 4 April 1936 at age 63.¹
     He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He served in the Crete dispute in 1898.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Medjidie Fourth Class.¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was appointed Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹ He gained the rank of officer before 1927 in the Colonel Northumberland Fusiliers.¹

     Lionel George Bodley Miles was born on 11 March 1878 at Sheerness, Kent, England.¹ He was the son of Major Philip William Herbert Miles and Margaret Frances Pringle Killick.¹ He married Ellen Collings in 1907 at Kettering, Northamptonshire, England.¹ He died in 1960 at Weymouth, Dorset, England.¹

     Olive Mary de Bathe Miles is the daughter of Major Philip William Herbert Miles.² She married Charles Michell Aloysius Wood, son of Field Marshal Sir Henry Evelyn Wood, V.C. and Hon. Mary Paulina Anne Southwell, on 19 June 1915.¹
     From 19 June 1915, her married name became Wood.¹
