     Owen O’Neill is the son of Henry McToole O’Neill.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in 1688 in the King James II’s army.¹

     Shane O’Neill is the son of Brian ‘Faghartach’ O’Neill.²
     He was living in 1594.¹

     Aedh O’Neill was the son of Nial Óg O’Neill.² He died in 1555, killed in a skirmish with the Antrim Scots.¹
     Scots 1555 (an unknown value.)¹ He held the position of after ousting his uncle Murtough Devlinagh Chief or Prince of Clannaboy from in 1552.¹ In 1553 he made peace with English and was confirmed as Chief.¹

     Eoghain O’Neill was the son of Aedh O’Neill.² He died on 5 May 1601, killed fighting for the English.¹
     He lived at Castleneager, Clannaboy, Ireland.¹

     Brian ‘Modortha’ O’Neill is the son of Eoghain O’Neill.²

     Phelim ‘Dubh’ O’Neill was the son of Nial Óg O’Neill.² He died, without issue.¹
     On 19 September 1556 he was confirmed as Chief of South Clannaboy by the English after he had surrendered to them the castle of Belfast.¹

     Brian O’Neill is the son of Nial Óg O’Neill.²
     He was living in 1556.¹

     Sir Conn O’Neill was the son of Nial Óg O’Neill.² He died in January 1589/90.¹
     He was Chief or Prince of South Clannaboy circa 1557.¹

     Domhnall O’Neill was the son of Sir Conn O’Neill.² He died in 1584, killed by the English.¹

     Murtough ‘Doibhlenagh’ O’Neill is the son of Niall ‘Mor’ O’Neill and Ingeandubh O’Donell.²
     He was said to have had eight tall gentlemen as sons.¹ He held the position of Chief or Prince of Clannaboy from in 1548.¹ In 1553 he was described as having the name of Captain of Claneboy but lacking the ability to maintain the position.¹ Before September 1556 he was reduced to subchief status.¹
