After a long struggle against the English resigned Chiefship to his cousin Aedh O’Neill, Earl of Tyrone.2 Sir Terence ‘Lynagh’ O’Neill also went by the nick-name of ‘Toridelbach Luineach’.2 He held the office of Dynast of Tyrone between 1567 and 1593.2
