     Lt.-Cdr. Peter Wedderburn-Ogilvy was born on 20 March 1931.¹ He is the son of Donald Stephen Wedderburn-Ogilvy and Myra Caroline Henrietta Eustace.² He married Philippa Sabine Burt Woods, daughter of Colonel Frederick Arthur Woods, on 15 August 1959.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.¹ He retired from the military in 1969, with the rank of Lieutenant-Commander, late of the Royal Navy.¹ He lived in 2003 at Oak House, Froxfield, Petersfield, Hampshire, England.¹
