Thomas O’Conor1 
He gained the rank of officer in the French Army.1 He fought in the Battle of Fontenoy in 1745, with King Loius XV’s Irish Brigade having played a large part in brining success.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Order of St. Louis in 1745 for bravery.1
