Lord Albert Edward Wilfred Gleichen, son of Viktor Prinz zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Lady Laura Wilhelmina Seymour, on 2 July 1910 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 27 October 1942 at age 62 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹
     She held the office of Maid of Honour to HM Queen Victoria between 1897 and 1901.² She held the office of Maid of Honour to HM Queen Alexandra between 1901 and 1910.² Her married name became Gleichen.

     Hon. Henry George Edwardes was born on 15 December 1844.¹ He was the son of Captain William Edwardes, 3rd Baron Kensington and Laura Jane Ellison.¹ He married Cecilia Douglas Bayley, daughter of Charles John Bayley, on 4 July 1878.¹ He died on 30 December 1896 at age 52.¹
     He was Secretary of the Legation in 1885 at Buenos Aires, Argentina.¹ He was Secretary of the Legation in 1887 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.¹ He was Secretary of the Embassy in 1892 at Rome, Italy.¹

     Cecilia Douglas Bayley was born on 16 February 1844. She was the daughter of Charles John Bayley.¹ She married Hon. Henry George Edwardes, son of Captain William Edwardes, 3rd Baron Kensington and Laura Jane Ellison, on 4 July 1878.¹ She died on 16 February 1924 at age 80.¹
     From 4 July 1878, her married name became Edwardes.

     Charles John Bayley was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Cecil Lawrence Herbert Auriol Edwardes was born on 6 September 1881.¹ He was the son of Hon. Henry George Edwardes and Cecilia Douglas Bayley.¹ He died on 7 March 1905 at age 23, unmarried.¹

     Lady Feodora Georgina Maud Gleichen was born on 20 December 1861 at London, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Viktor Prinz zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Lady Laura Wilhelmina Seymour.¹ She died on 22 February 1922 at age 60 at London, England^G, unmarried.¹
     She gained the title of Gräfin von Gleichen.¹ She was a sculptress.² On 12 September 1917 she relinquished her German titles, and was granted the rank of a marquess’s daughter.²

     Lady Victoria Alice Leopoldine Ada Laura Gleichen was born on 28 November 1868 at London, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Viktor Prinz zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Lady Laura Wilhelmina Seymour.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Percy Wilfred Machell on 5 December 1905 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 10 September 1951 at age 82 at London, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Percy Wilfred Machell married Lady Victoria Alice Leopoldine Ada Laura Gleichen, daughter of Viktor Prinz zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Lady Laura Wilhelmina Seymour, on 5 December 1905 at London, England^G.¹ He died on 1 July 1916 at Warly-Baillon, Marne, France^G, killed in action.¹
     He lived at Crackenthorpe Hall, Appleby, Westmorland, England^G.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)² He fought in the First World War.²
