     Thomas Legh was born illegitimately.¹ He was the son of Thomas Peter Legh.² He married Ellen Turner, daughter of William Turner, on 14 January 1829.¹ He died on 8 May 1857.¹
     He lived at Golborne Park, Lancashire, England.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Lyme Park, Cheshire, England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newton between 1819 and 1831.¹

     William Turner held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Blackburn.¹ He lived at Shrigley Park, Cheshire, England.¹

     Ellen Turner was born circa 1811.² She was the daughter of William Turner.³ She married Edward Gibbon Wakefield, son of Edward Wakefield and Susanna Crash, in March 1826 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.² She married Thomas Legh, son of Thomas Peter Legh, on 14 January 1829.¹ She died in 1831.¹
     From March 1826, her married name became Wakefield.² From 14 January 1829, her married name became Legh. Her marriage to Edward Gibbon Wakefield was annulled by Act of parliament.²

     Ellen Jane Legh was the daughter of Thomas Legh and Ellen Turner.² She married Reverend Brabazon Lowther in 1847.¹ She died on 22 November 1906.¹
     From 1847, her married name became Lowther.

     Christopher F. R. Lumley was born in 1963 at Marylebone, London, England.² He is the son of Richard Edward Walter Lumley and Josephine M. Harvey.¹

     William Legh was born illegitimately.¹ He is the son of Thomas Peter Legh.² He married Mary Wilkinson, daughter of John Wilkinson.¹
     He lived at Brymbo, Denbighshire, Wales.¹

     Mary Wilkinson is the daughter of John Wilkinson.¹ She married William Legh, son of Thomas Peter Legh.¹
     Her married name became Legh.

     Constance Agnes Wykeham was born in 1875 at Barnsley, Gloucestershire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Philip James Digby Wykeham and Georgiana Caroline Henley.¹ She married Major Sir Frederick William Beresford Cripps, son of Edmund William Cripps and Ada Radcliffe, in 1897 at Thame, Oxfordshire, England.² She died in 1958 at Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.²
     From 1897, her married name became Cripps.²
