     Mabel Coope was born in 1854 at South Weald, Essex, England.¹ She was the daughter of Octavius Edward Coope. She married Archibald Weyland Ruggles-Brise, son of Colonel Sir Samuel Brise Ruggles-Brise and Marianne Weyland Bowyer-Smijth, on 26 September 1876.²
     From 26 September 1876, her married name became Ruggles-Brise.

     Evelyn Coope Ruggles-Brise was born on 5 June 1888 at Rivenhall, Essex, England.¹ He was the son of Archibald Weyland Ruggles-Brise and Mabel Coope.¹ He married Mildred Dorothy Cubitt, daughter of Edward George Cubitt and Christabel Mary Burroughes, on 11 February 1920.¹ He died on 28 September 1977 at age 89.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Norfolk Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Harold Ralph Ruggles-Brise was born on 18 February 1891 at Rivenhall, Essex, England.^1,2 He was the son of Archibald Weyland Ruggles-Brise and Mabel Coope.¹ He married Cecily Jane Gurney, daughter of John Henry Gurney, on 25 June 1925.² He died on 23 April 1951 at age 60.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Engineers.² He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgian.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He held the office of Member, Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Tanganyika] between 1926 and 1931.² He fought in the Second World War.²

     Florence Ada Ruggles-Brise was born in 1862 at Finchingfield, Essex, England.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Weyland Ruggles-Brise and Mabel Coope.¹
