A hard, unforgiving, arrogant man. He was a Northern representative of A & S Henry, worsted manafacturers of Bradford, working in Eaglescliffe. He moved to Nuneaton, Warwickshire, where George was born. He was bombed out in WW II and returned to Ben Rhydding. His father, Henry, lived with him and Lucy from 1910 to 1947.
