It seems highly likely that the details recorded in the parish register are in error:

‘Margareta Jenkinson filia Thome Jenkinson et Helene vx’is eius’
Perhaps this should have been
‘Helena daughter of Thomas Jenkinson & Margaret’
The later burial seems to confirm this:
Bur: 19 Feb 1599/1600
‘Helena Jenkinson filia Thome Jenk: 13d’
