Nigel Maitland Wilson and Lady Violet Freddie FitzRoy, on 19 October 1929.1 He died on 27 October 1942 at age 37 at El Alamein, EgyptG, killed in action.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Battle of El Alamein in October 1942.1
