     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Zouche, of Richard’s Castle, Mortimer [E., 1323] on 28 February 1336/37, de jure.1 He fought in the Battle of Crecy in 1346.1

     Hugh la Zouche was born on 29 September 1338.1 He was the son of Alan la Zouche and Eleanor (?)1 He married, firstly, Philippe (?)1 He married, secondly, Joan Bramshott, daughter of John Bramshott, circa 14 September 1391.1 He died on 11 July 1399 at age 60, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Zouche, of Richard’s Castle, Mortimer [E., 1323] on 12 November 1346, de jure.1
