Charles Elphinstone-Dalrymple1

     Charles Elphinstone-Dalrymple was born on 23 March 1817.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 1st Bt. and Graeme Hepburn.1 He was baptised on 30 March 1817 at Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.2 He married, firstly, Harriet Albinia Louisa Gordon, daughter of Alexander Gordon and Albinia Elizabeth Cumberland, on 12 September 1849 at Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1,3 He married, secondly, Christian Gordon-Cuming-Skene, daughter of William Gordon-Cuming-Skene, on 24 April 1860.1 He died in July 1891 at age 74.1
     He was given the name of Charles Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone at birth.4
