Captain Alexander Campbell of Acham1

     Captain Alexander Campbell of Acham was born circa 1697.2 He was the son of Colin Campbell of Acharne and Beatrice Duff.1 He married Helen Campbell, daughter of Patrick Campbell and Elspett Stewart, circa 1732.1,2 He died between 1766 and 1772.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 42nd Regiment (Black Watch.)2

     Duncan Campbell, 2nd of Glenlyon was born circa 1516 at Glenlyon, Perthshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Archibald Campbell, 1st of Glenlyon and Mariota Campbell.1,2 A contract for the marriage of Duncan Campbell, 2nd of Glenlyon and Margaret Drummond was signed on 3 March 1568.1 He died on 17 January 1578 at Balloch Castle, Lochtayside, Perthshire, Scotland.2
