     Oswald Henry Chaldecott was born on 29 June 1928.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Oswald Arthur Chaldecott and Margaret Ursula Worsley-Taylor.2 He married Grizel Mary V. Grant, daughter of Rear-Admiral John Grant and Ruth Hayward Slade, in 1961.2 He married Maureen Anthea Selina Hervey-Bathurst, daughter of Sir Frederick Peter Methuen Hervey-Bathurst, 6th Bt. and Maureen Gladys Diana Gordon, in 1990.1 He died on 12 October 2016 at age 88.2
     Oswald Henry Chaldecott usually went by his middle name of Henry.1
