     William Wyndham was born on 6 June 1739 at Dinton, Wiltshire, England.2 He was the son of William Wyndham and Barbara Smith.2 He married Elizabeth Heathcote, daughter of Sir Thomas Heathcote, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Hinton, on 3 December 1767.1 He died on 14 September 1786 at age 47.1
