Captain Josiah Child1

Captain Josiah Child was the son of Richard Tynley, 1st Earl Tylney of Castlemaine and Dorothy Glynne.1 He married Henrietta Knight, daughter of Robert Knight, 1st and last Earl of Catherlough and Hon. Henrietta St. John, on 7 May 1754 at Paris, France.2 He died in 1760.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

Henrietta Knight was born in 1729.1 She was the daughter of Robert Knight, 1st and last Earl of Catherlough and Hon. Henrietta St. John.1 She married, firstly, Charles Wymondsold, son of Matthew Wymondsold, in 1748.1 She and Charles Wymondsold were divorced in 1753.1 She married, secondly, Captain Josiah Child, son of Richard Tynley, 1st Earl Tylney of Castlemaine and Dorothy Glynne, on 7 May 1754 at Paris, France.2 She married, thirdly, Louis Alexandre Scipion Grimoard de Beauvoir du Roure, Comte de Florac in May 1762.1 She died on 26 February 1763 at Marseille, France, in childbirth.1
From 1748, her married name became Wymondsold.1 From 7 May 1754, her married name became Child.1 From May 1762, her married name became Beauvoir du Roure.1
