     Catherine Fell was baptised on 31 August 1869 at Penkridge, Staffordshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of James Alexander Fell and Elizabeth Lonsdale.¹ She married Major Richard Gylby Brooksbank, son of Arthur Brooksbank and Anna Maria Lonsdale, in 1906.¹
