     Christian Elisa Collot d’Escury was born on 8 September 1817 at Kaapstad, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ She was the daughter of Simeon Jacon Karel Baron Collot d’Escury and Clothilde Elizabeth Barclay.² She married Philip Hanbury, son of Osgood Hanbury and Susannah Willett Barclay, on 15 July 1845 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ She died on 21 September 1877 at age 60 at Reigate, Surrey, England.²
     From 15 July 1845, her married name became Hanbury.¹

     Reverend Arthur Hanbury was born on 18 May 1800 at Holfield Grange, Coggeshall, Essex, England^G.¹ He was the son of Osgood Hanbury and Susannah Willett Barclay.¹ He married Jessie Scott, daughter of Reverend Archibald Scott, on 13 August 1829 at St. Mary’s, Marylebone, London, England.¹ He died in 1888 at Sudbury, Suffolk, England^G.¹
     He was the Vicar at Bures St. Mary, Suffolk, England^G.¹
