     Jean Isabella Shaw Carmichael was the daughter of James Carmichael of Arthurstone.2 She married Edward Mackenzie Murray-Buchanan of Leny, son of Mackenzie Murray and Eliza Margaret Jackson, on 9 October 1913.1 She died on 9 December 1952.1
     From 9 October 1913, her married name became Murray. From 1919, her married name became Murray-Buchanan.

     Euphemia Cecilia Murray-Buchanan was born on 5 February 1915.1 She is the daughter of Edward Mackenzie Murray-Buchanan of Leny and Jean Isabella Shaw Carmichael.2 She married, firstly, Major Francis William Clark on 24 April 1940.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Hay-Young, son of Charles Cornelius Cardew Young, on 7 May 1956.1
     She was educated at Bedbury Park, Kent, England.1 From 24 April 1940, her married name became Clark. From 7 May 1956, her married name became Hay-Young. She lived in 2003 at West Lodge, 3a Glen Road, Bridge of Allen, Stirlingshire, Scotland.1

     Major Francis William Clark was born on 15 February 1912 at Oban, Argyllshire, Scotland.2,3 He married Euphemia Cecilia Murray-Buchanan, daughter of Edward Mackenzie Murray-Buchanan of Leny and Jean Isabella Shaw Carmichael, on 24 April 1940.1 He died on 3 February 1944 at age 31 at Italy, killed in action.2
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.1 He lived at Ulva, Argyllshire, Scotland.1
