Sir Cecil Ernest Moon, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 September 1867.1 He was the son of Edward Moon and Jessie Darbyshire.2 He married, firstly, Kate Lawder, daughter of P. Grattan Lawder, in 1888.1 He and Kate Lawder were divorced in 1910 at U.S.A.1 He married, secondly, Lilian Mary Darbyshire, daughter of Reverend B. S. Kekewich, on 8 June 1912.1 He died on 22 February 1951 at age 83, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Moon, of Copsewood Stoke, co. Warwick [U.K., 1887] on 17 November 1899.1
