     Most Rev. Francis Hamilton Moncreiff was born on 29 September 1906.¹ He is the son of James Hamilton Moncreiff and Elizabeth Lilian Harvey.²
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ He graduated from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1927 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1931 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Rector in 1947 at St. Salvator’s, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Canon of St. Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh between 1950 and 1952.¹ He held the office of Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway in 1952.¹ He held the office of Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church in 1962.¹

     Frederick Henry Wellwood Moncreiff was born on 13 February 1909.¹ He is the son of James Hamilton Moncreiff and Elizabeth Lilian Harvey.² He married Gwendolen Alma Gifford, daughter of Patrick Gifford, on 11 December 1939.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1929 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹ He lived in 2003 at Haenertsburg, Transvaal, South Africa.¹

     Patrick Gifford lived at Forneath, Castle Douglas, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.¹

     Gwendolen Alma Gifford is the daughter of Patrick Gifford.² She married Frederick Henry Wellwood Moncreiff, son of James Hamilton Moncreiff and Elizabeth Lilian Harvey, on 11 December 1939.¹
     From 11 December 1939, her married name became Moncreiff.

     Andrew Malcolm Moncreiff was born on 12 April 1944.¹ He is the son of Frederick Henry Wellwood Moncreiff and Gwendolen Alma Gifford.² He married Jennifer Margaret Chapman, daughter of John Chapman, on 9 October 1971.¹
     He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at Crossways House, Vann Road, Fernhurst, Sussex, England^G.¹

     John Chapman lived at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa.¹

     Jennifer Margaret Chapman is the daughter of John Chapman.² She married Andrew Malcolm Moncreiff, son of Frederick Henry Wellwood Moncreiff and Gwendolen Alma Gifford, on 9 October 1971.¹
     From 9 October 1971, her married name became Moncreiff.

     Michael Patrick Moncreiff was born on 14 July 1974.¹ He is the son of Andrew Malcolm Moncreiff and Jennifer Margaret Chapman.²

     Robert James Moncreiff was born on 8 August 1977.¹ He is the son of Andrew Malcolm Moncreiff and Jennifer Margaret Chapman.²
