John Victor Monckton was born on 13 October 1955.1 He was the son of John Monckton and Emily Mary Husband Steiner.3 He married Homeyra Taslimi on 16 July 1988.1 He died on 29 November 2004 at age 49 at 30 Upper Cheyne Row, Kensington, London, England, murdered by a pair of robbers.2
He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.2 He was educated at Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was managing director of bonds at Legal & General Group plc, an insurance company.2
