     Margaret Bruce Pennycook is the daughter of John Pennycook.² She married Sir Ernest William Moir, 1st Bt., son of Alexander Mitchell Moir, on 1 June 1887.¹
     Midlothian.¹ She lived Ravelston and Dalmeny.¹ Her married name became Moir. She was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) (d 5 Oct 1942), in 1920.¹

     Reginald Moir was born on 1 January 1893.¹ He was the son of Sir Ernest William Moir, 1st Bt. and Margaret Bruce Pennycook.² He died on 9 November 1915 at age 22, on active service.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers.¹ He graduated from Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Sir Arrol Moir, 2nd Bt. was born on 16 September 1894.¹ He was the son of Sir Ernest William Moir, 1st Bt. and Margaret Bruce Pennycook.² He married Dorothy Blanche Royds, daughter of Admiral Sir Percy Royds, on 21 June 1922.¹ He died on 8 August 1957 at age 62.¹
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.¹ He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1919 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)¹ He was Vice-President of the Institute of Patentees.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Moir, of Whitehanger, Fernhurst, Sussex [U.K., 1916] on 14 June 1933.¹

     Edward Moir was born on 25 September 1907.¹ He was the son of Sir Ernest William Moir, 1st Bt. and Margaret Bruce Pennycook.² He died on 25 September 1907.¹

     Admiral Sir Percy Royds was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Dorothy Blanche Royds is the daughter of Admiral Sir Percy Royds.² She married, firstly, Sir Arrol Moir, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Ernest William Moir, 1st Bt. and Margaret Bruce Pennycook, on 21 June 1922.¹ She married, secondly, Dr. Robert William Nichol, son of Dr. F. E. Nichol, on 8 June 1960.¹
     From 21 June 1922, her married name became Moir. From 8 June 1960, her married name became Nichol.¹

     Sir Ernest Ian Royds Moir, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 June 1925.¹ He was the son of Sir Arrol Moir, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Blanche Royds.² He married Margaret Hanham Carter, daughter of George Eric Carter, on 24 July 1954.¹ He died on 5 August 1998 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Moir, of Whitehanger, Fernhurst, Sussex [U.K., 1916] on 8 August 1957.¹

     June Pamela Moir was born on 22 November 1923.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Arrol Moir, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Blanche Royds.² She married Ian Colin Wetherell, son of Marmaduke Arundel Wetherell, on 18 June 1949.¹ She died in 1984.¹
     She was in the Women’s Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.¹ From 18 June 1949, her married name became Wetherell.

     Marmaduke Arundel Wetherell was born in December 1883 at Bodmin, Cornwall, England.² He died on 25 February 1939 at age 55.²
     He lived at Zimbabwe.¹ He lived at Richmond, Surrey, England.¹ He was an actor, screenwriter and film director.²
