     Henry Augustus Milman was born on 2 October 1882.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis John Milman, 4th Bt. and Katherine Grace Moore.² He married Genevieve Irving, daughter of Captain John Irving, in 1912.¹ He died on 8 April 1952 at age 69.¹
     He fought in the Somaliland Campaign between 1902 and 1904.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Commander (S) in the Royal Navy.¹ He was on International Danube Commission between 1920 and 1927.¹ He gained the rank of Acting Captain (S) in the Staff Combined Operations.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1943.¹

     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Mohamand Campaign in 1934.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1943.¹ He gained the rank of Acting Lieutenant-Colonel, in Middle East, Burma and Courmes, Alpes Maritimes.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Highland Light Infantry.¹ He was Military Attaché to Budapest between 1953 and 1955.¹

     Daphne Mary Bisset was born on 4 February 1914.² She was the daughter of Alexander Andrew Bisset.² She married, firstly, G. E. E. Webster before 1943.² She married, secondly, John Alexander Ralph Milman, son of Henry Augustus Milman and Genevieve Irving, on 3 January 1943 at Secunderabad, Madras, India.^1,2 She died in 1995 at Petersfield, Hampshire, England.²
     From before 1943, her married name became Webster.² From 3 January 1943, her married name became Milman.

     John Andrew Francis Pretyman Milman was born on 11 March 1945.¹ He is the son of John Alexander Ralph Milman and Daphne Mary Bisset.²

     Anne Isabel Jane Milman was born on 17 September 1943.¹ She is the daughter of John Alexander Ralph Milman and Daphne Mary Bisset.² She married William Frederick Hempsall on 11 December 1965.¹
     From 11 December 1965, her married name became Hempsall.

     He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (A.M.I.C.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers (SR.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹
