     From 12 December 1900, her married name became Reid.¹

     Sophia Margaret Jameson Millais was born on 15 June 1868.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Everett Millais, 1st Bt. and Euphemia Chalmers Gray.² She married Captain Douglas Lilburn MacEwen on 9 December 1891.¹ She died on 1 May 1907 at age 38.¹
     From 9 December 1891, her married name became MacEwen.

     Captain Douglas Lilburn MacEwen married Sophia Margaret Jameson Millais, daughter of Sir John Everett Millais, 1st Bt. and Euphemia Chalmers Gray, on 9 December 1891.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Cameron Highlanders.¹
