     Captain Neil Campbell of Duntroon was born on 16 April 1734.2 He was the son of James Campbell of Duntroon and Oib and Mary Fisher.3 He was baptised on 19 April 1734.2 He married Jean Campbell on 24 November 1772.3 A contract for the marriage of Captain Neil Campbell of Duntroon and Matilda Campbell was signed on 9 May 1760.2 He died on 12 July 1791 at age 57.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Regiment North British Fusiliers.2

     Jean Campbell was born on 2 September 1762 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Captain Neil Campbell of Duntroon and Matilda Campbell.3 She married Duncan Macdougall, son of Alexander ‘Dubh’ Macdougall, 23rd of Dunollie and of Lorn and Mary Campbell.1
     Her married name became Macdougall.

     Neill Macdougall was the son of Duncan Macdougall and Jean Campbell.2 He married Isabella Macdougall, daughter of Patrick MacDougall, 24th of Dunollie and of Lorn and Louisa Maxwell Campbell.1 He died on 13 April 1813 at Castella, Spain, killed.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 75th Regiment and AAG.1
