     Lt.-Gen. Frans Steven Karel Baron van Randwijck Heer van Rossum, Heesel en Beek was born on 11 October 1697 at Nijmegen, The Netherlands.1 He married Ursula Philippota van Reede Vrouwe van Rossum, Hessel en Beek, daughter of Hon. Godard van Reede and Lady Maria Nassau de Zuylestein, on 20 February 1730 at Oosterbeek, The Netherlands.1 He died on 26 December 1785 at age 88 at Arnhem, The Netherlands.1

     In 1452 he joined the rebellion of the Lords of the Isles.1
