     Katherine Laurie Marjoribanks was born on 21 April 1838.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Marjoribanks and Mary Cook.² She died on 30 March 1858 at age 19.¹

     Mary Marjoribanks was born on 5 February 1845 at Lochmaben, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.^1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Marjoribanks and Mary Cook.³ She married, firstly, Alexander Leslie, son of James Leslie, on 29 July 1869.¹ She married, secondly, Robert M. Ferguson on 10 April 1896. She died on 28 September 1912 at age 67.¹
     From 29 July 1869, her married name became Leslie. From 10 April 1896, her married name became Ferguson.

     Alexander Leslie was born in 1844 at Dundee, Forfar, Scotland.² He was the son of James Leslie.² He married Mary Marjoribanks, daughter of Thomas Marjoribanks and Mary Cook, on 29 July 1869.¹ He died on 7 December 1893.
     He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.E.)¹

     Reverend George Marjoribanks of that Ilk was born on 19 May 1908.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Marjoribanks of that Ilk and Mary Ord Logan.² He married Elizabeth Morris in 1953.¹ He died on 12 January 1955 at age 46.¹
     He was educated at Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1931 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)¹

     William Logan Marjoribanks of that Ilk was born on 26 February 1910.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Marjoribanks of that Ilk and Mary Ord Logan.² He married Thelma Williamson on 19 April 1938.¹ He died in 1999.¹
     He was educated at Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He was Assistant Conservator of Forests, Sudan Government at Khartoum, Sudan.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 15 February 1965.¹

     Sir James Alexander Milne Marjoribanks was born on 29 May 1911.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Marjoribanks of that Ilk and Mary Ord Logan.² He married Sonya Patricia Stanley-Alder, daughter of David Stanley-Alder, on 29 December 1936.¹ He died on 29 January 2002 at age 90.¹
     He was educated at Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1932 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was educated at University of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France.¹ He was with the Foreign Service between 1934 and 1971.¹ He was Deputy to the Secretary of State Foreign Affairs in Austrian Treaty Negotiations between 1947 and 1949.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1954.¹ He held the office of Assistant Under-Secretary, Foreign and Commonwealth Offfice between 1962 and 1965.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1965.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to EEC between 1965 and 1971.¹

     David Stanley-Alder lived at Alderford Grange, Sible Hedingham, Essex, England.¹

     Sonya Patricia Stanley-Alder was the daughter of David Stanley-Alder.² She married Sir James Alexander Milne Marjoribanks, son of Reverend Thomas Marjoribanks of that Ilk and Mary Ord Logan, on 29 December 1936.¹ She died in 1981.¹
     From 29 December 1936, her married name became Marjoribanks.

     Patricia Mary Marjoribanks was born on 15 September 1948.¹ She is the daughter of Sir James Alexander Milne Marjoribanks and Sonya Patricia Stanley-Alder.² She married Stuart Baillie Strong on 25 September 1970.¹
     From 25 September 1970, her married name became Baillie Strong. She lived in 2003 at 13 Regent Terrace, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Stuart Baillie Strong married Patricia Mary Marjoribanks, daughter of Sir James Alexander Milne Marjoribanks and Sonya Patricia Stanley-Alder, on 25 September 1970.¹
