     Annie Louisa Thompson was the daughter of George Powney Thompson.² She married Arthur Malet, son of Sir Charles Warre Malet, 1st Bt. and Susanna Wales, in December 1854.¹ She died on 3 September 1900.¹
     From December 1854, her married name became Malet.

     Arthur Elphinstone Malet was born on 11 February 1858.¹ He was the son of Arthur Malet and Annie Louisa Thompson.² He married Janet Henders, daughter of I. Henders, in 1891.¹ He died on 16 May 1900 at age 42, without issue.¹

     Janet Henders is the daughter of I. Henders.² She married Arthur Elphinstone Malet, son of Arthur Malet and Annie Louisa Thompson, in 1891.¹
     From 1891, her married name became Malet.

     Herbert Rivers Malet was born on 12 May 1864.¹ He was the son of Arthur Malet and Annie Louisa Thompson.² He married, secondly, Gertrude Fox.³ He married, firstly, Violet King, daughter of Major J. H. King, in 1888.¹ He died on 13 January 1951 at age 86.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Major J. H. King gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Dragoons.¹

     Violet King was the daughter of Major J. H. King.² She married Herbert Rivers Malet, son of Arthur Malet and Annie Louisa Thompson, in 1888.¹ She died on 8 May 1946.¹
     From 1888, her married name became Malet.

     Francis Arthur Rivers Malet was born on 23 November 1892.¹ He was the son of Herbert Rivers Malet and Violet King.² He died in November 1916, accidentally killed on active service.³
     First World War.^1,3 He gained the rank of Flight Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Air Service.¹

     S/Ldr. Henry Guy Rivers Malet was born on 30 September 1894.¹ He was the son of Herbert Rivers Malet and Violet King.² He married, secondly, Tessa West.¹ He married, firstly, Olga Muriel Balfour, daughter of James Balfour, on 23 June 1917.¹ He and Olga Muriel Balfour were divorced.¹
     He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.¹

     James Balfour lived at Paignton, Devon, England.¹
