     Jean Malcolm was the daughter of Sir Michael Malcolm of Balbedie and Grange, 6th Bt. and Isabella Davie.² She married Thomas Malcolm-Lyde in 1850.¹ She died on 29 September 1907.¹
     From 1850, her married name became Malcolm-Lyde. She lived at Fife, Scotland.¹

     Thomas Malcolm-Lyde married Jean Malcolm, daughter of Sir Michael Malcolm of Balbedie and Grange, 6th Bt. and Isabella Davie, in 1850.¹
     He lived at Sidhouse, Devon, England.¹ He was given the name of Thomas Lyde at birth.¹

     James Malcolm was the son of Sir John Malcolm of Balbedie and Grange, 5th Bt. and Jean Hutton.² He married Helen Duncan, daughter of James Duncan of Abernethy, on 22 May 1818.¹ He died on 30 June 1826.¹

     Helen Duncan is the daughter of James Duncan of Abernethy.² She married James Malcolm, son of Sir John Malcolm of Balbedie and Grange, 5th Bt. and Jean Hutton, on 22 May 1818.¹
     From 22 May 1818, her married name became Malcolm.

     John Malcolm was the son of James Malcolm and Helen Duncan.² He died in 1848, unmarried.¹

     Sir James Malcolm of Balbedie and Grange, 8th Bt. was born on 11 April 1823.¹ He was the son of James Malcolm and Helen Duncan.² He died on 8 June 1901 at age 78, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Malcolm, of Balbedie and Innertiel in the County of Fife [N.S., 1665] on 24 December 1865.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Fife.¹

     Charles Malcolm was baptised on 19 August 1687 at Ballingry, Fife, Scotland.^1,2 He was the son of Sir John Malcolm of Innertiel and Lochore, 1st Bt. and Hon. Emilia Balfour.³ He married Margaret Lindsay.¹

     Margaret Lindsay married Charles Malcolm, son of Sir John Malcolm of Innertiel and Lochore, 1st Bt. and Hon. Emilia Balfour.¹
     Her married name became Malcolm.

     Alexander Malcolm was born in 1720.¹ He was the son of Charles Malcolm and Margaret Lindsay.² He married Elizabeth Malcolm on 18 July 1760.¹ He died on 11 September 1809.¹
