Sir Gordon Nevil Macready, 2nd Bt. and Elisabeth Pauline Sabine Marie de Noailles.² He married Mary Fergusson, daughter of Sir John Donald Balfour Fergusson, on 16 September 1949.¹ He died on 27 September 2014 at age 93.³
     He was educated at Cheltham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1942 in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1942 and 1947, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Staff Captain in 1945.¹ He graduated from St. John’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ ) He was with BBC European Service between 1947 and 1950.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Macready, of Cheltenham, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1923] on 17 October 1956.² He was managing director Mobil Oil between 1975 and 1985.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1983.¹ He was chairman of Crafts Council
between 1984 and 1991.¹ He was deputy chairman of British Horseracing Board between 1993 and 1995.¹ He lived in 2003 at The White House, Odiham, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Sir John Donald Balfour Fergusson lived at Manor Farm, Ebbesbourne Wake, Wiltshire, England.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹ Sir John Donald Balfour Fergusson usually went by his middle name of Donald.

     Mary Fergusson was the daughter of Sir John Donald Balfour Fergusson.² She married Sir Nevil John Wilfrid Macready, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Gordon Nevil Macready, 2nd Bt. and Elisabeth Pauline Sabine Marie de Noailles, on 16 September 1949.¹ She died on 1 April 2007.³

     Sir Charles Nevil Macready, 4th Bt. was born on 19 May 1955.¹ He is the son of Sir Nevil John Wilfrid Macready, 3rd Bt. and Mary Fergusson.² He married, firstly, Lorraine McAdam, daughter of Brian McAdam, in 1981.¹ He and Lorraine McAdam were divorced in 1994.¹ He married, secondly, Gillian Simms in 2001.²
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Macready, of Cheltenham, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1923] on 27 September 2014.³

     Brian McAdam lived at Connah’s Quay, Deeside, Clwyd, Wales.¹
