     He gained the rank of Major in the 15th Sikhs.¹

     Eric Olaf MacLeod was the son of Norman MacLeod and Jessie Caldwell Gifford.² He died in 1906 at India.¹

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was director of Ogilvy and Mather between 1970 and 1982.¹ He was chairman of Phoenix Advertising between 1982 and 1986.¹ He was chairman of Lewis Broadbent Advertising between 1986 and 1988.¹ He was chairman of Minerva Publications Ltd between 1988 and 1990.¹ He was chairman of GMW Fabrics in 1989.¹ He was managing director of ADR Associates Ltd in 1993.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Milne-Watson, of Ashley, Longbredy, co. Dorset [U.K., 1937] on 27 April 1999.² He lived in 2003 at The Stables, Oakfield, Mortimer, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     William Mackintosh MacLeod was born on 15 June 1861.¹ He was the son of Very Rev. Norman MacLeod and Catherine Ann Mackintosh.² He married Constance Helen Sellar, daughter of Professor W. J. Sellar, on 8 January 1902.¹ He died on 30 June 1931 at age 70.¹

     Professor W. J. Sellar lived at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, a professor.¹

     Constance Helen Sellar was the daughter of Professor W. J. Sellar.² She married, firstly, Cecil Scott Arkcoll before 1902.¹ She married, secondly, William Mackintosh MacLeod, son of Very Rev. Norman MacLeod and Catherine Ann Mackintosh, on 8 January 1902.¹ She died on 16 May 1928.¹
     From before 1902, her married name became Arkcoll.¹ From 8 January 1902, her married name became MacLeod.
