He was educated at Farnborough School, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.1 He was naval advisor to the Director of Guided Weapon R & D, Ministry of Supply between 1946 and 1949.1 He was registered as a member of the Royal Institute Navigation.1 He was managing director of South Coast Rod Rigging Company.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Mackworth, of the Gnoll, Glamorgan [G.B., 1776] on 18 November 1952.1 He retired from the military in 1956, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.1

He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1968 in the AAAC (helicopter pilot), 28 Commonwealth Infantry Brigade Malaysia and Singapore.1 He fought in the Vietnam War between 1970 and 1971, with 161 Flight.1 He was pilot with Iranian Helicopters (Bristow) between 1972 and 1976.1 He was registered as a Member, Royal Aeronautical Society (M.R.Ae.S.)1 He was with British Airways Helicopters, North Sea between 1977 and 1989.1 He was pilot with British Airways Heathrow between 1989 and 2000.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Mackworth, of the Gnoll, Glamorgan [G.B., 1776] on 8 February 1998.2 He was with Easyjet Luton in 2000.2 He lived in 2003 at Blagrove Cottage, Fox Lane, Boars Hill, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1
