     Walter Norbert McShane was born on 13 August 1869 at Black Brush, Brighton District, Tasmania, Australia^G.¹ He married Rebecca Mary Partington, daughter of James Partington and Charlotte Warburton Pearce, on 25 May 1896 at Pontville, Tasmania, Australia^G.¹ He died on 23 June 1969 at age 99 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia^G.¹ He was buried on 25 June 1969 at St. Matthews Cemetery, Pontville, Tasmania, Australia^G.¹

     Pascale Donckier de Donceel was born in 1936.¹ She is the daughter of Léon Donckier de Donceel and Cecily Joan Mackworth.²

     James Leslie Partington was born on 19 December 1876 at Brighton, Tasmania, Australia^G.¹ He was the son of James Partington and Charlotte Warburton Pearce.¹ He married Katherine Whyte in 1905 at Subiaco, Perth, Western Australia, Australia^G.¹ He died on 29 July 1916 at age 39 at Somme, France^G, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹

     Sir Harry Llewellyn Mackworth, 8th Bt. was born on 17 March 1878.¹ He was the son of Sir Arthur William Mackworth, 6th Bt. and Alice Kate Cubitt.² He married Leonie Georgette Peterson, daughter of Professor Franklin Sievewright Peterson, on 8 October 1913.¹ He died on 18 November 1952 at age 74, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He fought in the East Africa Campaign between 1903 and 1904.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers and Royal Signals.¹ He was Chief Signal Officer of the Egypt between 1924 and 1927.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Mackworth, of the Gnoll, Glamorgan [G.B., 1776] on 2 May 1948.¹

     Professor Franklin Sievewright Peterson lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Mus.B.)¹

     Leonie Georgette Peterson is the daughter of Professor Franklin Sievewright Peterson.² She married Sir Harry Llewellyn Mackworth, 8th Bt., son of Sir Arthur William Mackworth, 6th Bt. and Alice Kate Cubitt, on 8 October 1913.¹
     From 8 October 1913, her married name became Mackworth.

     Vice-Admiral Geoffrey Mackworth was born on 20 June 1879.¹ He was the son of Sir Arthur William Mackworth, 6th Bt. and Alice Kate Cubitt.² He married Noel Mabel Langford, daughter of William Thomas Langford and Mabel Fanny Gilliat, on 26 April 1910.¹ He died on 4 March 1952 at age 72.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1920.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1929 and 1930.¹ He gained the rank of Commodore between 1939 and 1942 in the Convoys.¹

     William Thomas Langford was born circa 1847 at India.² He married Mabel Fanny Gilliat, daughter of John Saunders Gilliat and Louisa Ann Fanny Babington, in 1880 at Watford, Hertfordshire, England.²
     He lived at Charford Manor, Devon, England.¹

     Noel Mabel Langford was born in 1886 at Kensington, London, England.² She was the daughter of William Thomas Langford and Mabel Fanny Gilliat.^3,2 She married Vice-Admiral Geoffrey Mackworth, son of Sir Arthur William Mackworth, 6th Bt. and Alice Kate Cubitt, on 26 April 1910.¹
     From 26 April 1910, her married name became Mackworth.
