     He was educated at Upper Canada College, Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹ He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1951 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (M.I.Mech.E.)¹ He graduated from London University, London, England, in 1952 with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) (Eng.)¹ He was registered as a MIWE, DIC in 1952.¹

     Rosalind Jean Walters is the daughter of Reverend Albert Walters.¹ She married Richard Charles Audley Mackworth, son of Air Vice-Marshal Philip Herbert Mackworth and Winifred Kathleen June Moss, on 2 July 1960.¹
     From 2 July 1960, her married name became Mackworth.

     Julia Kathleen Mackworth was born on 27 June 1968.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Charles Audley Mackworth and Rosalind Jean Walters.²

     Victoria Alma Louise Mackworth was born on 17 February 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Charles Audley Mackworth and Rosalind Jean Walters.²

     Major James Digby Mackworth was born on 2 September 1927.¹ He was the son of Air Vice-Marshal Philip Herbert Mackworth and Winifred Kathleen June Moss.² He married, firstly, Marjorie Wilding in 1952.¹ He and Marjorie Wilding were divorced in 1968.¹ He married, secondly, Anna Marjorie Wilson Melling in 1968.¹ He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Marianne Parsons in 1984.¹ He died on 11 March 2016 at age 88.³
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Electricial and Mechanical Engineers.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (F.I.Mech.E.)¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1956 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Professor and Head of Mechanical Design in 1976 at Royal Military College of Science, Shrivenham, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Old School House, Littleworth, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Marjorie Wilding married Major James Digby Mackworth, son of Air Vice-Marshal Philip Herbert Mackworth and Winifred Kathleen June Moss, in 1952.¹ She and Major James Digby Mackworth were divorced in 1968.¹
     From 1952, her married name became Mackworth.

     Charles Digby Mackworth was born on 5 November 1958.¹ He is the son of Major James Digby Mackworth and Marjorie Wilding.² He married Alison Jane Murphy in 1999.³

     Amanda Jane Mackworth was born on 22 June 1956.¹ She is the daughter of Major James Digby Mackworth and Marjorie Wilding.²

     Anna Marjorie Wilson Melling married Major James Digby Mackworth, son of Air Vice-Marshal Philip Herbert Mackworth and Winifred Kathleen June Moss, in 1968.¹ She died in 1983.¹
