     Major Philip Henry Knight gained the rank of Major in the Royal Welch Fusiliers.¹

     Cecil Beryl Katharine Gore was born in 1898.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Cecil Howard Gore and Fanny Knight.¹ She died in 1968, unmarried.¹

     Caroline Emma Mackinnon was born on 21 April 1847.¹ She was the daughter of William Alexander Mackinnon of Strathaird, 34th Chief of MacKinnon and Margaret Sophia Willes.² She died on 2 January 1925 at age 77, unmarried.¹

     Sophia Louisa Mackinnon was born on 18 July 1849.¹ She was the daughter of William Alexander Mackinnon of Strathaird, 34th Chief of MacKinnon and Margaret Sophia Willes.² She died in 1937, unmarried.¹

     Alexander Hood Mackinnon, younger of MacKinnon was born on 8 January 1892.¹ He was the son of Francis Alexander Mackinnon of Strathaird, 35th Chief of MacKinnon and Hon. Emily Isabel Hood.² He died on 14 September 1914 at age 22, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the 79th Queens Own Cameron Highlanders.¹ He fought in the Battle of the Aisne in September 1914.¹

     Samuel John Marsh was born in 1888 at Redhill, Surrey, England.² He was the son of Samuel Marsh and Mary Towner.² He married Gladys Sybil Rose Studd, daughter of Alnod Ernest Studd and Rose Beatrice Maclean, on 24 May 1919 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.^1,2 He and Gladys Sybil Rose Studd were divorced in 1931.² He died in 1972 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.²
