     Elizabeth Anne Nickle was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Robert Nickle.² She married Sir Charles Rhoderic McGrigor, 2nd Bt., son of Sir James McGrigor, 1st Bt. and Mary Grant, on 17 November 1850.¹ She died on 26 November 1874.¹
     From 17 November 1850, her married name became McGrigor.

     Sir James Rhoderic Duff McGrigor, 3rd Bt. was born on 27 April 1857.² He was the son of Sir Charles Rhoderic McGrigor, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Nickle.² He married Helen Cornell Meiggs, daughter of John Gilbert Meiggs, on 30 October 1890.² He died on 4 February 1924 at age 66.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He gained the rank of Captain in 1878 in the Rifle Brigade.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet McGrigor, of Campden Hill, co. Middlesex [U.K., 1831] on 13 January 1890.²

     Maj.-Gen. Charles Rhoderic Robert McGrigor was born on 5 September 1860.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Rhoderic McGrigor, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Nickle.² He married Ada Rosamond Bower, daughter of Robert Hartley Bower and Marcia Lister-Kaye, on 18 February 1892.¹ He died on 9 July 1927 at age 66.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He served in East Griqualand, Transvaal, Eqypt, and East Sudan.¹ He was commissioned, in the service of the 3rd Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     John Powys is the son of Thomas Powys.

     Ada Rosamond Bower was the daughter of Robert Hartley Bower and Marcia Lister-Kaye.² She married Maj.-Gen. Charles Rhoderic Robert McGrigor, son of Sir Charles Rhoderic McGrigor, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Nickle, on 18 February 1892.¹ She died in January 1945.¹
     From 18 February 1892, her married name became McGrigor.

     Richard Wilson was born circa 1750.² He was the son of Dr. Charles Wilson and Ann Gibson.² He married Elizabeth Fountayne, daughter of Very Rev. John Fountayne and Ann Montagu.¹ He died in 1786.¹
     He lived at Rudding Hall, England.¹

     Elizabeth Fountayne was born in 1762.² She was the daughter of Very Rev. John Fountayne and Ann Montagu.¹ She married Richard Wilson, son of Dr. Charles Wilson and Ann Gibson.¹ She died in 1786.²
     Her married name became Wilson.¹

     Andrew Fountayne-Wilson Montagu was born on 12 June 1815.² He was the son of Richard Fountayne-Wilson and Sophia Osbaldeston.¹ He died on 8 October 1895 at age 80.²
     He was given the name of Andrew Fountayne-Wilson at birth.² In 1826 his name was legally changed to Andrew Fountayne-Wilson Montagu by Royal Licence, in order to inherit the Papplewick estate under Frederick Montagu’s will.²

     Lt.-Cdr. John McGrigor was born on 4 July 1942.¹ He is the son of Admiral Sir Rhoderic Robert McGrigor and Louise Gwendoline Glyn.² He married Anita Rence Nordberg, daughter of Elemer Nordberg, on 27 October 1962.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived in 2003 at 24 Monckton Road, Gosport, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Elemer Nordberg lived at Saint Germain-en-Laye, France.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.¹
