L. Valens, on 23 December 1957.1 He married, secondly, Brenda Margaret Hanson in 1985.1 He died on 16 September 2016 at age 83.3
     He graduated from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in 1958 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was president of the College of Family Physcians of Canada in 1975.3 He was Chief of the Department of Family Practice between 1993 and 2000 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.3 He lived in 2003 at 2597 Vista Bay Road, Victoria, British Columbia, CanadaG.1
