     Mary Anne Louisa Macdonald was born in 1844 at West Indies.² She was the daughter of Robert Douglas Macdonald, 2nd of Inchkenneth and Gribune and Mary Anne Louise Carleton.³ She married Lt.-Col. Capel Henry Miers on 16 August 1871.¹ She died on 21 October 1897 at Tangiers, Morocco^G.^1,2
     From 16 August 1871, her married name became Miers.

     Lt.-Col. Capel Henry Miers was born on 5 December 1841 at Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.² He married Mary Anne Louisa Macdonald, daughter of Robert Douglas Macdonald, 2nd of Inchkenneth and Gribune and Mary Anne Louise Carleton, on 16 August 1871.¹ He died on 3 April 1911 at age 69, after being thrown out of his dog cart whilst taking a drive.¹
     He lived at Eastbach Court, Gloucestershire, England^G.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 79th Regiment (Cameron Highlanders.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Major Charles Kerr Macdonald was born on 1 January 1806.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Macdonald, 1st of Inchkenneth and Gribune and Mary Douglas.² He married unknown wife (?) in 1836.¹ He died on 17 October 1867 at age 61 at Alexandria, Egypt, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 42nd Highlanders (Black Watch.)¹

     Her married name became Ashworth.¹ From 1836, her married name became Macdonald.

     Captain James Archibald Macdonald was born on 18 January 1808.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Macdonald, 1st of Inchkenneth and Gribune and Mary Douglas.² He married Louisa Martha Greig, daughter of Sebastian Holford Greig, in 1837.¹ He died on 6 June 1875 at age 67 at Guernsey, Channel Islands.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Louisa Martha Greig was born circa 1810.¹ She was the daughter of Sebastian Holford Greig. She married Captain James Archibald Macdonald, son of Lt.-Col. Robert Macdonald, 1st of Inchkenneth and Gribune and Mary Douglas, in 1837.¹ She died on 9 July 1889.¹
     From 1837, her married name became Macdonald.

     Charles Douglas Macdonald was the son of Captain James Archibald Macdonald and Louisa Martha Greig.² He died in 1872 at Guernsey, Channel Islands, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Marines Light Infantry.¹

     Ranald George Meyritt Macdonald was born on 25 February 1810.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Macdonald, 1st of Inchkenneth and Gribune and Mary Douglas.² He married, firstly, Alicia Jane Bridges, daughter of Reverend Nathaniel Bridges and Alicia Jane Enraght, in 1836.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Anne (?) on 16 September 1875.¹ He died on 19 September 1875 at age 65, without issue.¹
     He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.)¹

     Reverend Nathaniel Bridges was born in 1789 at Essex, England.² He was the son of John Bridges. He married Alicia Jane Enraght, daughter of John Enraght, in 1815 at Clifton, Bristol, England.² He died on 4 March 1871 at Henstridge, Wincanton, Somerset, England.²
     He was Vicar at Henstridge, Somerset, England.¹

     Alicia Jane Bridges was born circa 1816 at Henstridge, Wincanton, Somerset, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend Nathaniel Bridges and Alicia Jane Enraght.³ She married Ranald George Meyritt Macdonald, son of Lt.-Col. Robert Macdonald, 1st of Inchkenneth and Gribune and Mary Douglas, in 1836.¹ She died in 1874, without issue.¹
     From 1836, her married name became Macdonald.
