     Dermot MacDermot was born in 1877.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Hugh Hyacinth O’Rorke MacDermot, The MacDermot, Prince of Coolavin and Henrietta Maria Blake.² He died on 27 August 1931, unmarried.¹

     Major Francis Charles MacDermot was born on 25 November 1886.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Hugh Hyacinth O’Rorke MacDermot, The MacDermot, Prince of Coolavin and Henrietta Maria Blake.² He married Elaine Orr, daughter of Seth Alexander Orr, on 17 March 1925.¹ He died in 1975.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he he was mentioned in despatches four times.¹ He graduated from Queen’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a Sunday Times correspondent in Ireland, New York and Paris.¹ He was founder and leader of the National Centre Party.¹ He held the office of Member of the Deal [Ireland] between 1932 and 1937, for County Roscommon.¹ He was biographer of Wolfe Tone.¹ He held the office of Senator [Ireland] between 1937 and 1942.¹

     Seth Alexander Orr lived at Troy, New York, U.S.A.¹

     Elaine Orr was the daughter of Seth Alexander Orr.² She married, firstly, Scofield Thayer before 1925.¹ She married, secondly, Major Francis Charles MacDermot, son of Rt. Hon. Hugh Hyacinth O’Rorke MacDermot, The MacDermot, Prince of Coolavin and Henrietta Maria Blake, on 17 March 1925.¹ She died on 24 July 1974.¹
     From before 1925, her married name became Thayer.¹ From 17 March 1925, her married name became MacDermot.

     Brian Hugh Dermot MacDermot was born on 2 December 1930.¹ He was the son of Major Francis Charles MacDermot and Elaine Orr.² He married Georgina Maria Gallwey, daughter of Dayrell Gallwey, on 23 March 1985.¹ He died on 12 September 2013 at age 82.³
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1952 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1952 and 1955 in the Irish Guards.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He was partner of Panmure Gordon & Company.¹ He was member of the London Stock Exchange.¹ He wrote the book Cult of the Sacred Spear, published 1972.¹ He lived in 2003 at Clock House, Rutland Gate, London, England^G.¹

     Dayrell Gallwey lived at Rockfield House, Tramore, County Wexford, Ireland.¹

     Georgina Maria Gallwey is the daughter of Dayrell Gallwey.² She married Brian Hugh Dermot MacDermot, son of Major Francis Charles MacDermot and Elaine Orr, on 23 March 1985.¹
     From 23 March 1985, her married name became MacDermot.

     Thomas Patrick MacDermot was born on 16 March 1986.¹ He is the son of Brian Hugh Dermot MacDermot and Georgina Maria Gallwey.²
