     Alfred William Ternan is the son of William George Ternan and Geraldine Maunsell.¹

     Henriette von Mömpelgard was born in 1387.¹ She was the daughter of Henri de Montfaucon, Seigneur d’Orbe and Marie de Châtillon-Porcéan, Vicomtesse de Blaigny.¹ She married Eberhard IV Graf von Württemberg, son of Eberhard III Graf von Württemberg and Antonia Visconti.¹ She died on 14 February 1444.¹

     Katharina von Württemberg was born on 7 December 1441.¹ She was the daughter of Ulrich V Graf von Württemberg and Margareta von der Mark-Kleve.¹ She died on 28 June 1497 at age 55 at Wurzburg, Germany^G.¹
     She was a nun at Laufen^G.¹

     Margareta von Württemberg was born in 1442.¹ She was the daughter of Ulrich V Graf von Württemberg and Margareta von der Mark-Kleve.¹ She died on 21 July 1479 at Liebenau^G.¹
     She was a nun at Liebenau^G.¹

     Amelia Fraser was the daughter of Hugh Fraser, 9th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Lady Amelia Murray.² She married Alexander Mackenzie of Fraserdale in 1702.¹ She died on 22 August 1763.²
     From 1702, her married name became Mackenzie. On 2 December 1702 as heir general of her father, she assumed on his death the title ‘Lady Lovat’ and the Court of Session decided that she was entitled both to the title and the Lovat estates, rejecting a counter-claim by her cousin Simon, 11th Lord, the heir male.¹ She held the estates till 1715, when her husband’s participation in the Jacobite Rising led to his attainder and forfeiture of his life-rent interest in the estate.¹ On 3 July 1730 by a decree of reduction in the Court of Session at the instigation of the 11th Lord, she was deprived of the title and though her right to the estates was not subject to court action she parted with them to the 11th Lord for £12,000 ready money.¹

     Alexander Mackenzie of Fraserdale was born circa 1683.² He married Amelia Fraser, daughter of Hugh Fraser, 9th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Lady Amelia Murray, in 1702.¹ He died on 3 June 1755.¹
     He was given the name of Alexander Mackenzie at birth.² His name was legally changed to Alexander Fraser of Fraserdale.²

     Hugh Mackenzie was born circa 1703.¹ He was the son of Alexander Mackenzie of Fraserdale and Amelia Fraser.² He married Amelia Fotheringham, daughter of Patrick Fotheringham and Hon. Anne Fraser.³ He died on 9 November 1770.¹
     He styled himself as Lord Lovat.¹ In 1733 he sold the reversion of any claim he might have on the family estates to the 11th Lord.¹

     Amelia Mackenzie was the daughter of Alexander Mackenzie of Fraserdale and Amelia Fraser.² She died on 22 August 1763.¹

     Elisabeth von Bayern-Landshut is the daughter of Heinrich XVI Herzog von Bayern-Landshut and Margarete von Habsburg.¹ She married Ulrich V Graf von Württemberg, son of Eberhard IV Graf von Württemberg and Henriette von Mömpelgard, on 8 February 1445 at Stuttgart, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.¹

     Elisabeth von Württemberg was born on 23 December 1450 at Landshut, Germany^G.¹ She was the daughter of Ulrich V Graf von Württemberg and Elisabeth von Bayern-Landshut.¹ She married Friedrich II Graf von Henneberg on 13 September 1469 at Münnerstadt.¹ She died on 6 April 1501 at age 50.¹
